Back in 2019, Ehsan Pakroo wondered why we kept eating snacks filled with additives and artificial
ingredients. Why couldn’t a snack be simple, delicious, and genuinely good for you?
And why couldn’t it be made from just one ingredient?
The Sprout
Ehsan began experimenting in his kitchen with his favorite fruits — slicing, drying, tweaking
temperatures, and testing every small detail. Some batches were too sticky, others too dry, but each
attempt taught the family something new.
Eventually, they found the sweet spot: that perfect balance of flavor, color, and texture where the
fruit still tasted alive. What came out of the oven wasn’t just dried fruit — it was proof that simple
could be extraordinary.
The Bloom
After sharing those first batches with friends and family, and finally perfecting the recipe, it was time to put the fruit into a pouch that carried the same honesty as the snack itself. RawGrow was ready to bloom.
What began as one person’s curiosity quickly became a family effort. Loved ones joined in — drying, packing, and sharing the fruit with anyone who’d try it. Together, they built the foundation for what RawGrow would become.

In 2024, RawGrow was selected as a winner of the Spinneys Local Business Incubator Program, helping bring our fruit to more shelves across the UAE.
Today, you’ll find RawGrow in Spinneys and Waitrose stores nationwide — a quiet reminder of what happens when you let nature lead.
